Ok... How in the world does THAT happen? Really... That's just perplexing.

the person was driving on the parkway, which wasnt designed to cary heavy loads (like a car)...so as she was driving over it, one of the stones came loose and heaved upwards (probably because the tyre wasnt dead center on the stone).. the driver then continued driving, and the movement fowards jammed the stone up the passenger side floor board. at which point the driver panicked and stopped the vehicle.
